Reverse Laminar Air Flow

Reverse Laminar Air Flow

A Reverse Laminar Air Flow Unit is called by several names in Pharmaceutical industries, Chemical research laboratories, Biotechnology, Electronic industry, & Semiconductor production; as Clean Booth, Sampling Booth, Dispensing Booth, Powder Dispensing Booth, Clean Booth,Solvent Booth, Downflow Booth, Weighing Booth, RLAF Unit, etc

It is a kind of streamline flow-filter cabin used in dispensing, sampling and weighing of powders / chemicals in Pharma and chemical industries. These units provide protection to operators, products and even the enclosed setting. It is provided with HEPA filters which prevent the air borne dust by down draught technique. The booth is constructed with the help of stainless steel material armed with 3 stages of filtration - Pre-filter, Intermediate filter and HEPA filter.

Purpose & Function:
  • The equipment is meant to provide a laminar Air Flow over the work level with ISO-5 (Class100) conditions.
  • The Primary work of Reverse Laminar Air Flow (RLAF) as Protection from airborne contaminants generated during the powder handling operations such as sampling, charging and dispensing etc.
  • Smooth transition of wall & ground eliminates duct accumulation & blind angles.
  • Reverse Laminar Air Flow provides:
  • Operator Protection
  • Product Protection
  • Environment Protection
