What is a Pre Filter

A Pre Filter is a filtering device which removes unwanted particles like dust, insects, pollutants and other microbes before they reach the main filter. The main purpose of Pre Filter is to stop the dirt and other dust particles from entering the main filter. Thereby, Pre Filters can be considered to be a cost saving measure since they enhance productive life of the main filters.
